    Epsom salt can be very beneficial in calming you down whenever you are under stress. Stress impacts the magnesium levels in the body and can increase adrenaline levels. Epsom salt, which is high in magnesium, can help in elevating the serotonin chemical in the brain. This in turn reduces stress and promotes a relaxed state of mind.

    To use this, add a cup of Epsom salt and a few drops of essential oil of your choice, to bathwater. Soak in this tub of water for about 20 minutes and you can feel the difference.

  3. Chamomile Tea:

    Chamomile is an effective herb for reducing stress. It has soothing and calming properties and in many instances used as a mild sedative. For making the tea, add 2 teaspoons of dried chamomile to a cup of hot water. Strain after a few minutes and add a drop of honey into the tea and drink it.

  4. Laughing:

    Laughing is one of the easiest remedies for reducing stress. Laughing relaxes the muscles and improves the mood. It has been observed that people who laugh frequently are more stress-free.

  5. Sleep adequately:

    It's important to take sufficient sleep, as it relaxes the mind and helps to reduce or get rid of stress.

  6. Reduce caffeine consumption:

    caffeine is a compound found in coffee, tea, and some other beverages. Consumption of caffeine works as a stimulant for anxiety and stress. You need to limit your caffeine consumption to manage stress.

  7. Physical exercise:

    As per the studies done by researchers it has been shown that people doing physical exercise tend to manage their stress and anxiety in a better way.

  8. Avoid alcohol:

    People think that consuming alcohol can help to reduce stress but it's not true. The reduction in stress by consumption of alcohol is just for a short period. It can lead to an increase in anxiety and alcohol dependence which is harmful to health.

  9. Chewing gum:

    According to the researchers chewing gum Is found to increase the flow of blood to the brain and reduce the stress. It has been seen that people who chewed more chewing gum were more likely to be stress-free.

  10. Eat healthy diet:

    Processed and packaged foods contain chemicals which have an impact on our mood. Food containing high sugar also influences mood. Try to eat healthy food containing carbohydrates, proteins, vitamins.
