Your question is bit confusing. Sugar free pills or powder are chemicals which given in a very very small quantity give a sweet taste for patient satisfaction for limited items like tea etc. But this is not in true sense a substitute to free sugar to be used in cooking, better known as glucose. Certain doubts are expressed by some scientific persons about its safety in long term use. For a diabetic it is advised to drastically restrict consumption of food items containing free sugars like usual sugar, jaggery and honey. Consult your diabetes physician or dietitian for proper guidance.
