My elder brother was suffering from mouth ulcer. Have done biopsy. Report shows. Diagn: multiple serial sections studied show tumour mass composed large pleomorphic round to polyhedral cells having large hyperchromatic nuclei with prominent nucleoli and scanty eosinophilic cytoplasm. Tumour cells arranged in sheets islands and infiltrating into stroma. Tumour giant cells also seen occasional individuals cells keratinisation are also evident. There is diffuse lymphocytic infiltration noted. Areas of tumour necrosis also seen. Impression: biopsy from bm shows poorly differentiated squamous cell carcinoma grade iv.
