If your condom leaked during sexual activity, it's possible that you may have been exposed to sexually transmitted infections (stis) or unintended pregnancy, even if you changed the condom immediately. It's recommended that you get tested for stis, including hiv, gonorrhea, chlamydia, and syphilis, at least 2 weeks after the sexual encounter to allow for sufficient time for the infections to show up on the test. Some infections, like hiv, may require a longer period of time before the test results are reliable.
