Hi doctor, in late december last year (2021) I had unprotected sex with a judy (a female). And since I didn't know her hiv status I decided to start taking pep. Whilst on pep (and exactly day 6 of taking pep) I had unprotected sex with my girlfriend nancy (a female). Recently in late february (2022) my girlfriend (nancy) & I decided to do an hiv test using the self testing kits. My results were hiv negative but nancy's results showed hiv positive. Is it possible that I might have transmitted the virus to her on day 6 of taking pep? I had finished the 28 days course of pep. But is it possible that I transmitted hiv to her while taking pep although my hiv status shows negative after 9 weeks?
