I am a diabetes patient. My foot is swelling. Doctor told me failure of your kidney its happen. Please suggest me what to do.

Get renal function tests, liver function tests, cbc with esr(blood tests) and keep your legs elevated above hip level. Get blood sugar fasting and post food and hb1ac levels as well. Swelling could be due to deranged renal functions or foot infection. Revert back with reports.
