I was tested covid positive on 30 April, 2021. I took 2nd dose of covishield vaccine on 26 april. Though covid symptoms have gone, yet cough and phlegm (white) still persist along with chest pain experienced sometimes. Also, my appetite is still low. Please suggest what tests should I get done post covid? Are all of them necessary? Should I get a chest x-ray done?

In many instances cough persists for more than 30 days after covid. So as such you need not be worried much. Just continue steam inhalation 2-3 times a day and eat a healthy diet. And as for taste loss it will also come slowly. You need not be worried as such. If you are not having any breathlessness or similar symptoms chest x ray is not necessary. But if you wish to you can get it done and consult with a physician with the same. If you don't have any other symptoms you don't need any more tests. Any other problem. For weakness you don’t need any tests. How is your appetite? Follow this 1. Don't take tea empty stomach. Eat something like a banana (if you are not diabetic) or any seasonal fruit or soaked almonds and a glass of water first thing in the morning (within 10 mins of waking up).
