My father is 73 years old. He has recently done blood test in which hdl is 26 and hb is 11. Also, ecg was also done which says sinus tachycardia leftward axis qrs (t) contour abnormality consistent with inferior infarct probably old unconfirmed. What should be done?

Your father's hdl is concerningly low, however it would have helped if the ldl and triglyceride data was provided instead. Sinus tachycardia isn't usually a concern, unless there is no identifiable cause. It will usually disappear if the underlying disease has been cured or any anxiety removed. High blood pressure can also coexist in your father's condition, which needs to be treated if detected. There are also additional investigations and prescription medications which can be started along with lifestyle changes like fat and salt intake restriction and moderate exercise like walking for 30 mins daily.
