Yes diabetics can consume them. But carrot has to be consumed under normal balanced glucose levels only.

Yes lybrate-user, you can have green gram and carrot. Green gram is good source of protein and carrot is asource of vit a, c, k, e, b, potassium, manganese and other nutrients. Diabetics can have it as salad or as snack but not in cooking because during cooking it's glycemic index increases. Even they should avoid carrot juice as it converted to glucose very quickly and can cause a spike in the blood sugar.
