Hello and thank you for visiting my Lybrate profile! I want to let you know that here at my office my staff and I will do our best to make you comfortable. I strongly believe in ethics; as a health provider being ethical is not just a remembered value, but a strongly observed one. I am Neetha Dilip, consultant clinical dietician/nutritionist, owner at One Health My Nutri-Diet Clinic. The nutritionist in me evolved out of my love for cooking, my personal quest to eat more mindfully (i.e., in a way that nourishes my body, mind and heart), and my longstanding dedication to advocating for more sustainable and just food systems. It all depends on your motivation and never give up attitude. No you will lose weight needed you change your thinking and attitude towards permanent natural weight loss. The major hurdle is self sympathy while following diet that we r cursing our body, feeling missing out on certain foods, etc. We should just feel that we are gifting ourselves good health and good looks. Look at you after that, a happier you. You should take a metabolism boosting diet. Along with fiber and getting regular exercise, drinking enough water is the most important factor in relieving constipation. H2O is critical to help stool move easily through the colon. "The colon's main job is to reabsorb water. If you're a bit dehydrated, your stool will be harder and more difficult to pass. Soluble pectin rich foods like papaya, pineapple, banana, ripe guava, and berries like strawberry, flaxseeds, chia seeds, not only aid in proper digestion and bowel movement but also aid in improving appetite.

I am doing exercises n maintaining a diet regime for that for weight loss. I need to drink lemon warm water in the morning empty stomach. Few days back I found there is a hole like decaying is going on inside my corner teeth both sides. I came to know from internet that it's due to lemon. Then I drink by using a straw to not to spread the condition more. But after 1 1/2 months after one day I was getting a small tiny piece of rock like in my mouth during eating process. I came to know that's the part of my decaying tooth. I am very sad. Don't know whom to consult. Dietician/ nutritionist/dentist. My fear is due to it may due to lemon water, calcium deficiency or whether it will spread to other tooth's or not. I think ceramic filling will help to give the decay tooth a proper shape n cover the hole. My tongue hurts a lot when it will touch at that broken sharpen teeth's body. Please help.

Teeth decay doesn’t happen just because of consumption of lemon water. They are many other reasons for poor bone health. Please consult a good dentist. This vitamin is probably one of the greatest nutritional concerns for vegetarians and vegans, because vitamin B12 is generally found only in animal foods. While vegetarians can obtain vitamin B12 from dairy foods and eggs, vegans do not consume these foods, thus it can be virtually non-existent in their diets. Many foods are supplemented with vitamin B12, such as some nutritional yeasts, breakfast cereals, and meat alternatives, but it is important that regular, consistent supplies of vitamin B12 be included in the diet. Inadequate intake may result in vitamin B12 deficiency, which can lead to megaloblastic anemia and even difficulty walking, memory loss and disorientation. Almond milk, soya milk, coconut milk, cereal and millet flakes like ragi, bajra, barley, oats fortified with vitamin B12, all milk and milk products like cheese, paneer, curds, shrikhand, yoghurts, sprouted nutty shakes are also good sources.

For some people, gaining weight or adding muscle can be just as difficult as losing weight. However, simply adding certain foods to your diet can be very effective to gain weight. Red meat is an excellent source of protein that will help you gain muscle. It contains leucine, an amino acid that helps stimulate muscle protein synthesis. The fattier the meat, the more calories you will take in. Just a 170-gram fillet of salmon provides around 350 calories and 4 grams of omega-3 fats. It also provides 34 grams of high-quality protein, helping you build muscle or gain weight. You can make some very simple, high-calorie and well-balanced meals by combining whole grain bread with protein sources such as eggs, meat and cheese. Try combining some dried fruit with a protein source, such as cuts of meat or a whey protein shake. They also mix really well with nuts and natural yogurt, providing a blend of healthy fats, protein and other key nutrients. Try adding avocados, which are loaded with healthy fats to your main meals and other dishes such as omelets or sandwiches. Cheese is a very good source of protein and is also rich in healthy fats. Add it to meals if you need a calorie and flavor boost. Eggs are one of the best foods for building muscle. There’s no limit to the number you should eat in a day, and they’re full of nutrients. Full-fat yogurt is another healthy and convenient snack. Not only do potatoes and other starches add carbs and calories to help you gain weight — they also increase your muscle glycogen stores. Nuts and nut butters are a perfect choice if you’re looking to gain weight. Drinking milk is a great way to add protein to your diet. It contains both casein and whey proteins. Drinking homemade protein smoothies can be a highly nutritious and quick way to gain weight.

Consume Apitone tonic daily. Eating a variety of flavors from food may help increase your appetite. Avoid eating bland foods; that can do little for increasing your appetite. Adding fresh or dried herbs to dishes can help enhance flavor and also add nutritional value to a meal. Try either cooking or ordering from a restaurant a different cuisine you are not used to. For example, try adding in Indian, Asian, Middle Eastern or other ethnic flavors into your meals. Trying new flavor combinations can increase your desire to eat and may help broaden your interest in food. The smell of herbs and seasonings should also help boost your appetite. You can also make food more interesting by increasing the variety of texture of foods at meals. If your oral health allows it, avoid eating just one texture of food at meal times. Get a little bit of soft, crunchy, chewy, etc. foods at meals to help keep you interested.

For pre- and post-match snacking, to replace calories with the proper carbohydrates, protein and good fats, try cheese and crackers, peanut butter and jelly on whole wheat or trail mix.

Yes you can definitely consume. Gain weight in a healthy way. Your journey to gain weight doesn't necessarily have to be unhealthy. Increase healthy calories. Nutrient dense foods. Snack right. Include mini meals. Bulk up. Eat more protein. Have probiotics. Eating junk food may result in weight gain. However, it will not satisfy the nutrition your body needs.
