I was diagnosed with pcod last year in the month of april 2019. I am unmarried and 25 years old. In 2019 my ovary size was: right ovary: 4.0 2.1 cmsleft ovary: 4.1x1. 6. Both normal in size with multiple small follicles in both ovary. I was given medicines and I got back my periods. Again on this year I last had my periods on 10th of january, and still haven't got my periods. I was seeing a general physician who gave me tests and the current usg report states: both ovaries are bulky in size with suggestive of small (subcapsular) follicles arranged peripherally in both ovaries. Right ovary measures 32 mm 26 mm 24 mm volume 9 ml and left ovary measures 34 mm 28 mm 26 mm volume 10 ml. Impression: bilateral polycystic changes in ovaries and now the general physician has suggested me to go for ovarian drilling. Is my condition too serious to go for laparoscopic surgery? Please help. Will medicines work on me? I am too scared. Please help!
