I have much more cavities in my teeth. I feel very pain during drilling and filling. Dr. Suggest me for rct of 3 teeth. Please guide me whether I should extract m teeth or rct is more helpful for me.

Hello its always better to save the natural tooth structure. Hence your dentist has suggested rct. He/she must have definitely seen the amount of tooth structure left and advised the treatment accordingly. There will be slight pain in initial sittings which can be managed by local anaesthesia. Subsequent sittings will not be painful. My suggestion- if there is a sound tooth structure, I would advise rct. Extraction would be the last option. Hope this helps. Rct always saves the tooth, go for rct (if possible)(consult you doctor accordingly), instead of extraction.

If your dentist has suggested rct then why you want to extract your teeth. If pain is your concern, you will be given local anaesthesia before drill procedure so that you may not feel any pain during the procedure. You may be prescribed pain reliving medicines also if required. As long as a tooth is savable and the patient is not having financial problem then there is no sense of getting it extracted out of fear. Go ahead and get rct done.
