My mother aged 52 suffering from urinary tract infection and hospitalized for 5 days. She is a diabetic patient also. After giving medicines and iv injection still she has pain in left side of upper stomach. There is no ketone found in her urine result but she has numerous pus cells and e.coli bacterial present. Why still she has such pain?

Hi, e. Coli are usually resistant to many antibiotics. Hence, do a urine culture and sensitivity test to find out most sensitive drug to treat uti.
