Tooth looks black means it decays by bacterial activity. Simply you vist an oral surgeon or endodontist dental surgeon. First doctor take radiograph (x-ray) the it will show how much tooth will affected. If it is cured by filling then good otherwise needs extraction.

An iopa x-ray will help a dentist to recognize the cause for pain from a particular teeth due to decay or gum infection or trauma & a full mouth x ray will help a dentist to recognize the cause of pain in the jaw & bone. Treatment will be according to the diagnosis. Cotton pellets with clove oil kept on the decayed or painful tooth will reduce pain. You may consult me in person.

Get an x ray done from a dentist and the as per his advised it may need filling rct or extraction on basis of extent of damage.

It might be dental caries, kindly visit your nearest dental clinic so that the dentist can check and do the necessary treatment. Extent of caries depends on treatment like filling or rct (root canal treatment) or extraction.
