Hi, I am getting pain in my teeth. I had already done root canal therapy, but my teeth has broken from back side. So, filling has come from my teeth and now getting pain.

Go for x ray and if rct is intact then go for crown and if rct is not intact then go for re rct and then crown, if there is lot of damage to teeth and re rct is not possible then go for bridge or implant as per your budget.

Hello, may be after the root canal treatment you have not got the cap or crown done on the tooth because of which its broken. Kindly visit your dentist and get a x-ray done of the same tooth if there is no infection than get it restored and get a cap on it this time. Thanks.

An iopa x-ray will help a dentist to recognize the problem from particular teeth & a full mouth x-ray will help a dentist to recognize the problem from the bone & the jaw. Treatment will be according to the diagnosis.

Hi Lybrate User, Thanks for the query. As you said you underwent root canal and broken, it seems your tooth is fractured its better you visit your dentist go for a x-ray and let him confirm what type of fracture you had in your teeth based on that he can guide you for further treatment. If all is well he will advice you for permanent filling and crown on the tooth. If situation is irreversible and not tameble it's better to go for extraction of the tooth and than replacement with suitable method (dental implant or dental bridge)
