I have gouty arthritis and have elevated levels of uric acid and hyperuricemia. I have been prescribed four month long medication to reduce uric acid levels. My question is that, would, I be able to play high impact level sports and could I be able to workout with weights. Should I continue playing my professional sport or stop during these four month time?

You can continue but with the minimal load. If the higher load is given it may lead to fracture of the bone or other complication.
