Dear sir/madam, I was not feeling hungry from some days. I was feeling thrusts all the time and drink on an average 4-5 litre water a day but eat only 2 breads in morning and 2 breads in night. This is a whole meal I take. As I am taking a lot of water but not urinate accordingly. Yesterday I went in a medical store and they gave me a syrup named ciplactin syrup. But now I feel to much sleepy all the time. Is this any side effect of that syrup? Should I continue to take it or leave it? Is there any other solution for my problem? Please guide me. Thanks.

Stop eating bread. Take chitrakadi vati 2 tab twice after meals and chandra prabhavati 2 tab three times. Drink only 8 to 10 glasses of water. Take balanced meals of daal chawal sabji roti instead of bread. Get back after 15 days and report how you feel.

Ciplactin syrup side effects--sleepiness. Do not take medicines without doctors advice. You need to find out why you have lost your appetite. Do lft, tsh, urine exam from some lab. In the meanwhile follow this 1. Don't take tea empty stomach. Eat something like a banana (if you are not diabetic) or any seasonal fruit or soaked almonds and a glass of water first thing in the morning (within 10 mins of waking up). No only biscuits or rusk will not do. 2. Don't overeat 3. Take your breakfast every day. Don't skip it. U should eat whatever your mother or grandparent eat in breakfast. I mean to say whatever is your traditional food. If punjabi eat paratha, if belongs to south then take idli/ dosa etc. 4. Have light meals every 2 hours (in addition to your breakfast, lunch n dinner) e.g. Nariyal paani, chaach, a handful of dry fruits, a handful of peanuts, any fresh n seasonal fruit, a cup of curd/milk etc 5. Take simple food like rice n dal in dinner. Finish your dinner at least 2 hours before going to sleep. 6. Maintain active life style7. Avoid fast foods, spicy n fried foods, carbonated beverages 8.
