I have been suffering from adenomyosis since few years the pain is unbearable during periods and last for 7-12 days. I am put on tablet digest 2 mg since the last 3 months which is a hormone drug containing progesterone. I have been getting regular migraine headaches with vertigo since I have started this tablet. My gums says to take the medicine for a total of 6 months to get relief from pain. But the vertigo and migraine has become too bad. The other option if I stop digest is to go for a laparoscopy and check what is wrong inside. Also the gums suggest we cud do a laparoscopic hysterectomy as I have a family history of mom having ovarian cancer or complete hysterectomy. Can some one suggest which procedure should be done as I wish to discontinue the medicine.
