I am taking cystone tablet 1-1 per day (morning & evening). Today I went for regular blood checkup and found an increase in uric acid (7.2). I had cystone in the night and next day morning I had that blood test. Could the increased uric acid be due to cystone? The stone I have is in my right kidney, size 1-2 mm. Please suggest.

Purine breaks down into uric acid. Increased levels of uric acid from excess purines may accumulate in your tissues, and form crystals. This may cause high uric acid levels in the blood. Uric acid formation may occur when the blood uric acid level rises above 7 mg/dl.
