My fasting sugar is 120 and post lunch is 249. I have diabetics from Last 10 years. I am taking Glycomet Trio 1/0.3 twice in a day and benefit 20 mg once in a day. I have complication of numbness, pulling sensation and pain in my feet. I am taking Nervz B once a day for that and if pain increases, pregeb 75. My sugar is in control after medicines. However unable to overcome pain, numbness and pulling sensation in my feet after taking the medicines for approx 8-9 months. Please advise.

Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. Usually when diabetes is present for a long time (number of years), it does lead to certain long term complications like peripheral neuropathy. This happens even with fairly good glucose control. If control is not very good then symptoms tend to increase, which include numbness, tingling and even pain. The glucose levels mentioned (FBG 120 mg & PP 249 mg) are not showing good control. Good control means FBG < 100 mg & PP 150 to 170 mg and HbA1c% <6.8. It is very essential to achieve a strict glucose control to reduce neuropathy symptoms. Thanks.
