It's a common misconception that cleaning of teeth will make them weak. Truth is that cleaning of teeth regularly every 6 to 8 months actually makes teeth and gum stronger and disease free. Avoiding the cleaning due to fear or ignorance will only lead to the damage of gums which eventually will lead to loss of teeth. All the patients who get the cleaning done regularly retain their teeth for very long periods and probably life as compared to people who do not visit a dentist to get the cleaning done. Visit a dentist and get the cleaning done regularly there is no need to worry about getting them loose.

Teeth cleaning or scaling is very good for overall health because it removes the dirty debris from the mouth. Since food intake is done through mouth, a clean mouth also helps the internal body organs. Teeth cleaning removes debris which normally cannot be removed with brushing. It is a myth that Teeth cleaning loosens the teeth, because only water and ultrasonic scaler is used in cleaning.
