Weight reduction happens due to 70-80% Diet Control, 20-30% Exercise. You are only focused on 20-30%, that's why things aren't changing. One hour of gym burns about 300 calories, and one samosa is 300 calories. So all the effort at gym can get neutralised by any one such snack alone. No, whey protein will not help you lose weight, don't waste money over it. You need to switch your diet to simple natural foods. Increase veggies, fruits, water, salads. Cut down fried foods, sweets, colas, biscuits, junk food etc. Change your approach, then you will see the results.
