No its just a misnomer .. or a myth as it's said ..we only remove deposit around teeth.. which is present on your tooth since years together ... the deposit only causes .. all the trouble to the gums  and the tooth .. and the bone ... due to presence of deposit the gums and the bone becomes weak

No! Never! In cleaning prices dentist remove plaque/tartar&stains. As tartar gets accumulated in between teeth&around gumline, bcz of what gums get swollen. As already that tartar has disturbed the gingival (gum) fibre attachment to tooth, after cleaning patient might feel mobility of teeth. But it's definitely not because of cleaning. Whatever mobility patient feels is goes off after few days. As due to removal of tartar gum attachment il develope in few days. There il be healthy gums & helthy tooth supporting foundation.

Hello lybrate-user Cleaning does not weaken any foundation of the teeth nor any shaking effect. Infact it helps to reduce the plague and calculus formation which further weakens the teeth if not removed timely and can cause inflammation and infection. Hope my answer was helpful to you. Thank you.
