Hi lybrate-user. If you are anxious to conceive. I would suggest you do a few preliminary tests which would see if there are any factors, that are affecting normal conception. You can do your semen analysis. And for your wife, you could do her S.AMH, Thyroid profile, prolactin levels and USG Pelvis. This would give you a basic idea about your fertility.

Dear lybrate-user, What is your wife's age? If it is less than 30, fertility specialists will recommend that you try for a year. If the age is above 30, try for 6 months. You can then consult a fertility specialist. Meanwhile, just get a semen analysis done. If there are any challenges, that report will tell you. Good luck!
