Dear lybrateuser, - There is nothing fixed, the fluid requirement can vary as per your level of activity & sweating & the environmental temperature - there is water content in fruits, vegetables also - the juices, aerated drinks do have water but they are mixed with sugars, preservatives & other contents which dilutes the purity - it is best to have normal water which is well absorbed by the body & used as per its requirement, have it whenever thirst is there or can sip it more frequently, if you do moderate activity with not much sweating then 7-8 glasses in a day are OK.
