Hello my son 11 months old. Last week he suffered from fever and it reaches to conversion after dat I take my son to hospital nd he admitted 5 days after discharge he recovered from fever but Dr. says you should take extra care up to 6 years. How I take care my baby? Nd is dis dangerous to my son?

Quit common to have febrile convulsion below 5 years esp. With family history or repeat episode if child had it once. Not too dangerous if it is simple febrile seizures, if atypical, it can be problematic but in that case doctor would have advised you accordingly. Coming to extra care, the care is that child should not get fever rises beyond 100�f. Give paracetamol, as per advised dose, start sponging the moment you see temperature rising beyond 100�f. In case of repeat episode see the doctor immediately to stop the convulsion.
