About Trymax 2Mg Tablet

Trymax 2Mg Tablet is a potassium-sparing diuretic, or a waterpill, that is used to treat hypertension and edema in people with cirrhosis of the liver, congestive heart failure, or with nephrotic syndrome. It prevents the body from absorbing excess salt, which in turn keeps a check on the potassium levels. It helps in increasing the amount of urine your body makes and also gets rid of extra water.

You should not use Trymax 2Mg Tablet if you have any kidney disease, liver disease, hyperkalemia (high potassium levels), or if you are on any potassium supplements. It is recommended that you should consult a doctor if you have an heart disease, diabetes, if you are pregnant, or plan on becoming pregnant, are breastfeeding, hepatic impairement, or had kidney stones in the past.

The common side effects of Trymax 2Mg Tablet are diarrhoea, nausea, headache, dizziness, feeling weak or tired and dry mouth. Other serious side effects include pale skin, easy bleeding or bruising, jaundice, sudden uneven changes in heartbeat, constipation, leg cramps, muscle weakness or numbness, increase or decrease in urination, or painful urination or change in color of urine, fever and chills. You should visit a doctor immediately if you experience any of these serious effects.

Trymax 2Mg Tablet has to be taken orally once or twice a day for as long as prescribed by the doctor. The usual dosage is about 100mg that has to be taken two times a day. You should always consult you doctor regarding Trymax 2Mg Tablet and also about the dosage.

The osmolarity within the nephron lumen is increased and osmolarity of the interstitium is decreased when the reabsorption of sodium has been inhibited.
