Facet Arthropathy is a kind of disease or abnormality of the facet joint. Under this medical condition, a person usually undergoes through degeneration of the lower end of the spine. This condition is internal in nature and can be diagnosed only with the help of a CT scan, MRI or a bone scan. The major symptom that indicates this disorder is pain in the lower back region, which happens at one place only and does not travel to any other body parts. Sometimes, this disorder is also referred to as arthritis in the lower spine region.
