I was doing weight lifting of weight around 25 kg at gym. When I get back home my neck start to hurt and I was unable to rotate it. 1 week passed now I am able to rotate neck but there is still some stiffness in the neck. It is proving to be hard for me to keep my head straight while sitting up. How much more time it will take to get completely rid off it. And all things should I do to speed up my recovery. Thank you!
My age is 27, I am suffering knee pain since 2 month. I regular goes to gym and jogs suddenly on October I started feeling pain in my knee then I stopped running and gym still I feeling pain in my both knee and some time I feel tiredness in my legs. Please suggest me what I need to do.
I am suffering from severe joint pains since from last 7 yrs. I preferred tablets like iburophen and diclofenac but didnt work. What should I do? I am helpless in this regard and I don't want to have tablets because some way I had too many tablets at a time and that caused adverse effect to my liver and kidney I think. I want to know some home remedy and nutrition that will help me to avoid joint pain? If possible I can even go physical fitness. Please advice me in this regard. It really badly hurts me when it pains?
I am suffering from sleep disturbance body ache and joint pain. I am 61 years old retired male person. All blood reports and cardiac reports are normal.
I am 30 years old. I had a spinal surgery in dec 2013 due to a tumor called ependymoma. It was removed but since then I m not able to urinate naturally. I have to use a catheter to bypass urine myself. There is an improvement since surgery. But it's only 50% recovery I would say. Will it be fine one day or I will not be fine for the rest of my life. Are there any surgeries or medicines to take care of this disease.
Lateral epicondylitis (tennis elbow) is inflammation of the tendons that extend the hand backward and away from the palm.
Factors that increase having-
1-weak shoulder and forearm muscles.
2-playing with a racket that is too tightly strung
3-too short, hitting the ball off center on the racket (out of the sweet spot)
4-hitting heavy, wet balls.
Hitting backhanded and allowing the wrist to bend increase the chance of developing lateral epicondylitis.
1-ice is applied to the outer elbow, and exercises that cause pain are avoided.
2- use of a tennis elbow brace (usually for a few weeks as per your physio's advice) can be beneficial.
3 - ultrasound if swelling visible, tens is also very helpful in combination with ultra sound.
4- as pain decreases, elbow and wrist flexibility and strengthening exercises can be started.
