Hematuria, the medical term used for blood in urine, is a condition where the color of urine appears red, pink or cola coloured due to leakage of blood cells into the urine. Although, it is the sign of some serious issues like infection in the urinary tract, kidney diseases, kidney stones, or enlarged prostate gland, it can also be a result of a side-effect of some medications. Urine tests can help in diagnosing this condition. There is no such treatment available for Hematuria. However, if the problems which lead to blood in urine are managed, it can be cured.
