Main cause of weight gain is excessive food. Just doing one hour of exercise is not sufficient for weight loss. One hour of walk etc may burn 250 calories, but one samosa will add up 300 calories. Ultimately you need to balance your food intake. Try to follow these steps. 2. Add 2-3 Fruits per day taken 30 mins before meals. 3. Eat plain roti/rice with dal with a bowl of salad in each meal.

Hello, Thanks for the query.
I have gone through the details given. There is no mention of her T3, T4 & TSH levels. Unless I know those, it is difficult to suggest any thing. First let me know if she is on treatment and if yes, then what is the latest TSH level? Then only some suggestions can be given. Thanks.
