If he is thin and not putting on weight you need to make some variation in his diet. Increase protien intake in the form of sprouts, boiled moong chana, muesli. Try and give him milkshakes daily, dates, jaggery, paneer in a balanced form.

Consider replacing cornflakes with wheatflakes/ muesli/ oats/ dalia as these are higher in fiber. You may have it with double toned milk & fruits as an evening snack. Take salads in both main meals. Take nuts, oilseed, fruits, coconut water in between as fillers. Drink lots of water.

Hello.

The options for breakfast should consists of more of carbohydrate. Never take eggs and milk together as both of them are complete food and can't be absorbed by the system at the same time, so give at least an hour of gap between the two or else make combination like - cornflakes with milk, muesli with milk, bread & omelet, oatmeal & milk, Bread & butter, potato sandwiches, vegetable sandwiches, fresh toast, idli-chutney-sambar, masala-dosa, uttapam, bread pizza, suji upma, bread ...more
