Muesli known as health food has numerous benefits and eating muesli once or twice a day provides many benefits. Muesli is a mixture of oats, nuts, dried fruits, and nuts that can be eaten in many forms. Here are a few recipes in which you can eat muesli and start a healthy day.

1.Muesli With Oats

Muesli and oats are a good combination to have. You can make amazing muesli recipes and enjoy it with different toppings like fruits, honey, nuts, seeds or grains.

Here is easy muesli and oats recipe:

Ingredients:

  • 3 Cups muesli (any flavor)
  • 2 cups oats
  • ½ cup seeds or grains of your choice
  • ½ cup sliced almonds
  • ½ cup fruit of your choice
  • ½ cup unsweetened coconut flakes
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon powder

How to make:

  1. Firstly toast the grains or seeds, nuts, and almonds in a hot pan or oven. After the toasting is done add cinnamon powder and toss to combine.
  2. Secondly, bake unsweetened coconut until golden brown. Let all the ingredients cool down and once that all get cool transfer all of them to the bowl and mix them together.
  3. Now add fruits of your choice like apricots, cherries or strawberries, toss and mix together.
  4. In the end add muesli and oats enjoy it with milk, curd, yogurt or fruit juice.

Tip: You can also keep the bowl in the refrigerator for some time and enjoy your muesli and oat bowl cold.

2.Bircher Muesli Recipe:

Bircher muesli is very easy to make and healthy food containing all the nutrients. It is a combination of dried fruits, nuts, grains, rolled oats, berries.

Here is an easy bircher muesli recipe:

Ingredients:

  • ⅔ cups of rolled oats
  • ½ cup fruit juice of your choice
  • ½ cup berries (strawberries or raspberries)
  • 2 tablespoons of yogurt (greek, soy or plain)
  • 1 tablespoon of nuts (almond, cashew or dates)
  • 1 tablespoon of grains
  • 1 tablespoon of honey or maple syrup

How to make:

  • Take a bowel and soak bircher muesli with fruit juice for some time. Keep it in the refrigerator for some time.
  • Take the bowl out of the refrigerator and add all the ingredients along with yogurt of your choice.
  • Top bircher muesli bowel with berries, seeds, and nuts. At last drizzle honey or maple syrup and enjoy.

3.Caramelized apple and Gaia muesli

Gaia muesli is good for weight loss and has a good amount of manganese. It also helps in lowering bad cholesterol. Gaia muesli can be eaten in many ways like bars, crunchy jams or chocolate spread.

Here is a healthy Gaia muesli and caramelized apple recipe:

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups Gaia muesli
  • 1 cup oats
  • 1 cup nut of your choice
  • 250 ml of milk
  • 250 ml of cream
  • 1 cup castor sugar
  • 60 ml honey or maple syrup
  • 100 ml yogurt of your choice
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon sugar
  • 200gm fruits of your choice

How to make:

  • Take a bowl, add Gaia muesli and oats and milk. Keep the bowl in the refrigerator overnight.
  • Next morning take out the bowl and add fruits, cream, yogurt, nuts, and some more milk and mix them well
  • For caramelized apples take a pan and add butter in it. Cut the apple into small pieces. Add apples in butter and put some cinnamon powder, honey or maple syrup and cook on low heat for 5 minutes.
  • Once it is done, add caramelized apple into the muesli bowl and enjoy it.

4.Mixed Berry Muesli Parfait

Mixed berry muesli parfait is one of the best ways in which you can change your muesli eating style.

Ingredients:

  • ¼ cup muesli of your choice
  • ½ cup yogurt of your choice
  • ½ cup strawberries or raspberries (frozen)
  • 1 tablespoon seeds (flax seeds or pumpkin seeds)
  • ½ cup coconut flakes

How to make:

  • Take one parfait glass and make layers of all the ingredients.
  • You can top the mixed berries muesli parfait with chocolate or ice cream

5. Fruit and Nuts Yogurt Muesli Recipe:

Mixing muesli with yogurt is always a good idea as both are rich in protein and is good for bone health.

Here is fruit and nut yogurt muesli recipe:

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup oats
  • 6 cups non-fat yogurt of any flavor
  • ½ cup nuts of your choice
  • ½ cup coconut (shredded)
  • 2 tablespoons flax seeds
  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
  • 1 cup blueberries

How to make:

  • Take a bowl and add oats, muesli, and yogurt. Mix the ingredients and keep them in a refrigerator overnight.
  • Next morning take out the bowl and add the remaining ingredients, some more yogurt, and drizzle with honey or maple syrup.
