Hello Doctors, My younger brother has the problem of blood vomiting. We took him to hospital. Doctor did a endoscopy test and tell us that he has some erosion in duodenum. He prescribed some mediation to take and antacid syrup. We want to know that how long it takes to heal up. Waiting for your reply Pankaj.

It must be mild erosion Don't worry Follow the treatment prescribed by doctor Avoid oily spicy and fast food, non veg food, maida containing items like biscuits toast bread khari etc for 6 wks Take cold milk twice a day Take small and frequent feeds of very light food for 6 wks It will take 6 to 8 weeks to heal completely, with proper treatment and diet control.
