I tested on 22-11-2015 got report as T3: 76.19,T4: 7.9 & TSH: 7.67 so I started thyronorm 25 mcg again I tested on 21-04-2016 due to heavy headache daily my reports were T3: 80,T4: 6.5 & TSH 16.51 so Dr. Suggested me to take thyronorm 50 mcg instead of 25 I started taking but now from 1 week back I'm getting heavy half left side headache daily what I have to do now & my weight is not gaining even after I'm using tablets regularly.

lybrate-user, Hypothyroidism if not treated tends to increase weight. Controlling hypothyroidism will not cause any weight gain. SO if you taking adequate quantity of thyroxine and are able to maintain TSH between 3 to 4 mU/L, then weight will not go up. Only uncontrolled hypothyroidism will increase weight. Thanks.
