I am 23 years married woman. Our sex life is pretty good. Recently I have read that Coconut oil is not 100% safe as a lubricant. But we are regularly using Coconut oil without condom. We use withdrawal method because we are not planning for a family right now. My concern is should we continue with coconut oil or I should go with lubricant which are available in market. If not then suggest me a lubricant which is safe as well as economic cost.

withdrawal method is not a good method for pregnancy prevention as it is only 30% effective where as a condom or a copper t is 99% effective coconut oil is safe as it is a natural product but it only enhances lubrication and does not protect from getting pregnant. it's more difficult to clean coconut oil as it is not water soluble. many better options are available in the market which are safe and water soluble feel free to consult if you would like to know more.
