Please tell me which is better. aerocort or DUOLIN or SEROFLO capsules for asthma. Different doctors prescribed among them. I have asthma problem sometimes through allergy like dust, cold or humidity.

Aerocort is short acting reliever plus a steroid, Duolin is short plus long acting reliever, and Seroflo is long acting reliever with a steroid. I am sure you are more confused now. Seroflo is good for those having long standing persistent breathlessness and is used permanently. Other two are combinations of reliever (relieving the symptoms immediately) at the same time containing steroid also known here as preventer (which helps internal congestion of tubes. It is preferred that your doctor prescribes both contents seperately hence reliever like Salbutamol or Levo salbutamol is used more frequently for immediate relief. The other one steroid or prev enter is used only twice a day as required. This should suit you .But meet your doctor first.
