Doctor, Currently I have a sleeping problem. I can't sleep peacefully. Past couple of days I can't sleep only. Even though I am tired. I have a little bit of cold and ear pain which was cured by the local docs. Due to lack of sleep I have a headache. Please help. Currently my treatment is going for dis sleeping problem conducted an homeopathy docs. But still it's not effective. Please help.

Reason for not able to fall sleep though you are tired will be due to some anxiety or some disturbing thoughts which are causing this problem. so the best remedy will be leaving all the thoughts and having some peace of mind. to achieve that you should practice Meditation. you have to learn the technique from some yoga teache. divert your mind to more peaceful and agreable things. develop a philosophical attitude. next is you need to have physical activity like morning walk or a session of yoga. doing household work doesnot come under this activity, so necessarily you have to go morning walk and walk a distance of minimum 6 kms every day. evening practice Pranayama which gives some mental stability. along with that learn the technique of Bhraamari which will induce restful sleep. Do not try to depend on medicines, as the sleep given by will not have the quantity and quality of the natural sleep. Next is do not watch tv and do not look at the mobile atleast two hours before going to bed. use the bedroom/bed only for sleep. donot lie down on the bed during day, do not watch tv etc., lying in the bed. make the bed room completely dark and silent. its easily said than done because i do not know your family environment, so for some reason if you are not able to make the room dark, cover your eyes with a cloth or use eye blinds available in the market. after lying down you can continuously do the japa of your favourite God. before going to bed take a glass of warm milk, which will help you in getting good sleep. try these things you will definetely get good sleep over a period of time.
