After my delivery .I have back pain and I gained weight. My baby is now 8 month old. How can I do my day activities normally. Pl suggest me some exercise.

Back pain after delivery is due to muscle strain resulting from: 1.Inadequate rest and sleep 2. Improper posture while breastfeeding the baby. Observe these lifestyle changes to get relief: 1. While breastfeeding, follow good ergonomics to avoid back strain. Sit in a straight back chair with back support and feet should rest on floor. Do not bend to feed the baby. Your spine should be straight and supported while breastfeeding. 2. For pain relief, you should take Paracetamol tablets if you are breastfeeding. If baby is not lactating you can take other anti inflammatory drugs like Ibuprofen. 3. Take warm fomentation over back for 10 mins 4 times a day.Apply analgesic creams like Volini over back 4. Do back extension and stretching exercises once pain is relieved. 5. Take Calcium supplement and diet rich in vitamin and nutrients. If problem persists consult again.
