I am a 22 year old male and the flow of my urine is not as proper and quick as it used to be. I often see drops of it on my underwear after I have finished urinating. I also feel a little bit pressure on the bladder part whenever I urinate, i. E, the bladder pains a little and then the flow begins. I have had a history with kidney related problem of formation of stones and I have also got it operated once where I was told that I also had hydronephrosis. I would like your advise on what tests should be required (if any), for above symptoms. Thanks!

Dear , I think you have bladder outflow obstruction and the same may be responsible for stone formation and may be you may develop high blood pressure in future at young age. You need urine examination, sonography with n full bladder volume, bladder wall thickness and post-void residual urine volume. It is to be followed by uroflowmetry. This would give correct diagnosis and treatment could follow after that.
