Smoking can affect your appetite. Muscle gain is ideally attained with exercise and a proper diet. If you have hyperthyroidism, then you will have a problem gaining weight. Then there is the possibility that your level of metabolism is higher than normal due to many factors one of which is stress. So it is worth meeting with a counselor and talking about the stress and leading a more composed life.
