My endoscopy in september 22 showed helicobacter and mild chronic gastritis. I took antibiotics course with ppi for 14 days. Initially symptoms got better before returning again. In march 23 I had another endoscopy which confirmed helicobacter was eradicated but mild chronic inactive gastritis still remained. I am taking pantoprazole 40 mg per day but still get stomach pain on and off. I get phases when I get little to no symptoms for days and if I am lucky enough for weeks but then something I eat or increase in stress the gastritis will flare up despite being on ppi. How can I heal gastritis that seems to have been caused by helicobacter? How long does it usually take to be free of gastritis after successful helicobacter treatment can stress cause gastritis?

Hi, stress, of course is one of the factor for gastritis. Apart from that intake of spicy and oil fried food, untimely food, intake of excess of coffee and tea, lack of sleep are also some of the factors.

Hello sir, helicopter induced gastritis definitely takes long time for recovery. Avoid eating spicy, masada foods. Stress can definitely induce gastritis.
