Hi lybrate-user, you are suffering from clonazepam dependence (as both petil beta and depran forte contains clonazepam). It should have been tapered off and stopped early in the course of treatment (usually 2-4 weeks of treatment initiation). Now you need to discuss with your psychiatrist to consider switching from clonazepam to long acting benzodiazepines like chlordiazepoxide which is easy to gradually taper off and stop compared to clonazepam. Escitalopram need to be taken plain (depranex 20, without clonazepam) and propranolol dose can be increased to 40 mg per day (capsule betacap tr 40). Chlordiazepoxide can be started 25 mg at night and tapering can be started after 1-2 weeks of shifting over same.

Hello. I'm sorry to hear that you are going through these problems. It would be helpful if you could elaborate on the neurological problems and what exactly happens if you reduce the dose. The medicines prescribed do not usually cause any major neurological problems. But if you desire to adjust the doses, I suggest you consult a psychiatrist as soon as possible.
