My father aged 50 who suffered from CAD has diabetes. It is 3 years after CAD. Since my father has diabetes the Sugar level increases and decreases. Today he woke and couldnt see properly and he sees everything blur from his right eye. His left eye is good. He could barely see very near objects from his right eye? Why is to so doc? Regards.

Sudden blurring of vision in diabetic you should rule out diabetic retinopathy. Please see the nearest ophthalmologist as early as possible. If there is any retiopathy changes he may need lasers or intravitreal injections. Some times diabetes itself can cause blurring of vision. You should keep strict control of blood sugar.
