I am 20 year adult women I want to start using tretinoin I haven't consulted any doctor. Preciously when I was 18 years old I had a severe painful acne which I treated with benzol peroxide and clindamycin then my acne is gone fully but it left some dark spots and many open pores and uneven skin tone and mainly tiny bumps over my face in addition it's been 2 years I maintain proper skin care steps still no major changes. Can I start using tretinoin? If yes which one.?

Hi you can use retinoic acids for your face, but for that a proper assessment of your face will be required to decide which of them would be better for you. And what all additional creams or gels along with some precautions will be required for maintenance of your skin. I would suggest you to have a direct video consultation so that I can prescribe you proper treatment.
