Hii am 20 years old female I had a severe foot sprain so the doctor has put the fiber casting. I feel soo uncomfortable can I remove it after 1 week. Will this fiber caste plaster cure my pain. Forever.

The cast is kept to keep the muscles and bone to heal from the sprain and to avoid any jerk and pressure to muscles which can disrupt the healing. It is adviced to keep the plaster as suggested by the doc, if you remove it then the injury wont be healed and there will be pain. After removing of cast plaster you need to apply ice pack twice a day to remive sitffness and may be required to do few exercises for free movement of the foot.
