I am 38 years old. For past few days, I was having trouble sleeping. Was having palpitations, small pinching sensations and more fear. Feels like I am getting ill, some stress was there. Could not sleep well for three to 4 days. Getting a feeling like something is going to happen to me. Went to the doctor for a regular checkup. Bp was 150/90. He prescribed bp medicine tazloc and anxiety medicine etizola, and suggested some tests. I did my lipid profile test also which are borderline high. Did also ecg which is normal. Still having a small pinching sensation in my chest every now or then. Sometimes feels like pinching in the chest sometimes in the lower abdomen, sometimes in the back. Don't know whether it is due to anxiety problems or my continuous thinking about the issue or what? Also taking bp readings regularly for the last couple of days which are in average of 140/80 now. Do I also need an echo or any other test?
