I am 56 years old male. I had a heart bypass surgery 1.5 years back and since then am suffering from frequent constipation, which results in fissure issues. A friend suggested to take a2 cow ghee - 1 teaspoon with warm water in the morning. Is it safe to consume it for heart patients? After surgery I have developed hypothyroidism and taking thyronorm 25 mcg. Also am taking unistar 20/75 capsule salt composition rosuvastatin (20 mg) + aspirin (75 mg) I have tried everything but my constipation keeps coming back and I have use stool softener frequently, and am afraid that I will get used to them eventually.

No it is not advisable to consume cow ghee regularly for anybody and especially a heart patient. Check whether your hypothyroidism whether it's under control, if not the thyronorm dose has to be adjusted. You can use stool softener intermittently so that you don't get habituated.
