I have been suffering from filaria to my left foot for about 20 years. What should I do? is there any permanent cure? I am 55 years old.

There is no permanent cure for filaria. The damage done is done. For acute attack however, a stat dose of albendazole and ivermectin is helpful. Some people also favour a tab, doxycycline course for 6-8 weeks. Meet a nearby physician to decide on which course to take.
