I'm 22/f, height- 170 cm, weight- 67 kg. I have intense lower back pain, which gets worse after sitting for like 5 mins, cannot bend at all, have pain in the lower back all day long. Please tell me what my mri means and will I be in pain forever. Mri of lumbo-sacral spine (screening study only) findings: alignment- normal curvature- straightened vertebral bodies- marginal osteophytes are seen at multiple levels intervertebral discs- internuclear cleft with diffuse disc bulge seen in all lumbar discs indenting the thecal sac. Indentation of the existing nerve roots seen in l4-l5 (on left) and l5-s1 (bilateral). Visualised cord and rest cauda equina nerve roots- normal posterior elements- facial arthropathy seen at l3-l4, l4-l5, l5-s1 levels. Pre and para vertebral soft tissues- normal. Impressions: early degenerative spondyloarthropathy of the lymph-sacral spine.
